"For a long time there was a constant nagging feeling inside of me.
Restlessness; always hungry never pleased.
I felt lost. Childishly lost. And I leaned into it.
It made me unhappy.
I didn’t understand what was wrong with me. In my mind I was doing the things I was supposed to as an artist — and as a young adult.
I was living in the moment but in the wrong ways. The things I did were following some imaginary track in my head that I had to follow in order to be happy. The things I did were to soothe not to enjoy.
I left almost everything behind in order to find happiness, in order to find peace.
Happiness never came it only got worse."
He sits by the table and closes his diary, the last entry being years ago. A shiver runs through his body as a gust of wind hits the cabin. He gets up from his seat, walks over to his room and pulls out a violin case from under his bed, having the slightest idea how to play it.
