wedding bells are ringing on 10.10, 10 AM
Easiest yes of my life was few weeks ago when he asked me to marry him. Second easiest yes was today, at 10 am in Istanbul, when the officiant asked me if I accept him as my husband.
I went to the venue in the morning with butterflies in my stomach. Is it the excitement, or the baby being joyful? Hard to know, but hardly makes any difference. 10.10 is a happy day, even with all the challenges. Seeing John in his wedding attire and thief mask on top, I thought, loving a criminal is never easy, but he’s surely worth it all…
I pondered our journey on my way. All the times we spent together, from our first date at that awkward venue, to seeing him in the middle of the crowd at my first concert; hopping onto plane just to see him for an hour, even the quick calls in between the cities… All the memories, just to fall in love again and again…
To end a chapter as a Dratzig, and starting the new one as a Stalin.
