Instablog - RickyNick - The High Life don't pay for itself

Los Angeles, a city of endless indulgence, where the rich get richer, and the poor get used to the view from below.
Cass and I have been basking in the glow of excess, sipping champagne on rooftops, slipping into vip booths at the kind of places that don’t have menus with prices. We’ve been breathing in luxury like it’s oxygen. But let’s be real, none of this comes free.
We put the work in. We earned this break. A little time to enjoy life without looking over our shoulders. Work on us, and our growing relationship.
But the money doesn’t last forever. We knew that going in. And now, as the bills pile up and the high end lifestyle starts to demand payment, we’re reminded of the simple truth, the hustle never stops.
Cass and I? We’re not the kind of people who punch clocks and take orders. We never have been. The world has its rules, and we’ve made our fortune dancing around them, bending them when needed, breaking them when necessary. The game calls us back, and we’d be fools to ignore it.
The question now is... what’s the next move?
Los Angeles is a gold mine if you know where to dig, and we’ve got the shovels. The city is built on greed, on people desperate to keep their secrets locked away, to maintain their perfect little illusions. And that?
That’s opportunity.
We’ll start small. A few well placed whispers, a couple of hands shaken in the right circles.
Leverage.
Information is the real currency in this town, and people will pay through the nose to keep their skeletons buried.
We’ve lived like royalty, and we intend to keep it that way. And if that means stepping back into the life, so be it. After all, the high life doesn’t pay for itself.
