They told me Manila was chaos. A place of contrasts—sunshine and smog, kindness and chaos. And they were right. But it’s beautiful chaos.
This city moves fast, louder than you expect, but it has this soft heart if you stop to feel it. We landed late, and by the next morning, I was already in this tiny bamboo-built spa near Makati, drinking ginger tea and pretending the world outside wasn’t burning.
This look? Manila heat demands skin. Tigers for power, lotus for grace. A little warrior energy for a city that doesn’t slow down.
The nights here are something else—neon signs, underground beats, street food at 3AM. I could lose myself in it if I wasn’t already planning my way back home.
Home. NYC.
I miss it more than I thought. The steel, the rhythm, the madness that feels like mine.
I miss the dark, sticky corners of Lower East Side clubs, the ones that smell like sweat and ambition.
I miss the drag queens that put your soul back together on a Tuesday night.
I miss the sound of stilettos on wet pavement and cheap perfume mixed with hope.
This look’s for the nights I still dream about. White shirt, undone rules. Jeans that remember who you used to be before you left home chasing something bigger.
We’re here a few more nights, but part of me’s already packing heels for New York.
Because no matter where we land, there's no runway like a Brooklyn sidewalk.
