Most other parents would be happy for their child solely if they knew they got a record contract. Something that had happened as a result of her live show online when she had a record exec in the audience. Sage didn't even know until she got a message afterwards.

She took a meeting with the label. One her mother had no connection too but the men their clearly knew her name. She signed the papers excitedly and they were already arranging music for her to have for a demo plus some shows for her to open on for her other artists. She was working quite a bit lately.

It was an exciting, thrilling. Yet, her mother's voice was an aggravating echo in her head. This would not go horrible. They were a good label. She knew what she was doing. So she thought.
