she was a dull wife and she just knew it, but she’d always promised to be the very best version of herself for the ones she loved, she always thought that romantically this looked like pure love and devotion, forsaking all others, requested or not, giving her all, eagerly, everyday whether loudly or quietly; that’s all she wanted, to give herself completely, buuut completely she was very dull and although really quite nuts, she didn’t crave drama these long dead days, she wanted perfect peace and to provide it in just beautiful buckets too, she’d been clear about that. she wanted; sitting her ass on the beach between paddling out, baking terrible awful cookies within safe handsy walls, playing with sweet babies on the living room floor, midnight picnicking (horizontally) in crypts, she wanted staying in bed til things felt right, she wanted coffee in a beautiful tiny hobbit cabin in the woods covered by a thick starry sky, every night pizza on the couch with netflix and cush whether post shows or not, and she wanted the mundane with. gah she knew she was damn dumb dull, she just didn’t want him to know it too, she wanted him to look at her like she was the aurora, the universe, a whole encompassing thing, even if it wasn’t every minute of everyday.
but too little was in her blood, a hearts beat she’d accidentally begun whilst trying to be perfect perhaps because she’d been so very careful not to ever be too much, not again! she’d lost the look that way too before. she realised now, even though she really didn’t mind being dull herself, she definitely didn’t like how dull she felt, though did love a boring beautiful life, she also realised just how dull she was and how this made her all too hard to love, impossible to love enough to hold. shit.
