As a hardworking musician, I keep an eye on subgenres. It’s basically part of the job. You never know when Folk Metal will suddenly trend 
Yesterday, everything was fine. Normal. Heavy metal looked the way it should - loud, angry, and wearing too much black. No surprises, no sonic earthquakes.

Now, I’m no math genius (I chose guitar over calculus for a reason), but I can still count to 100 without crying. So tell me - how does 56 + 1 = 60? Did we start counting vibes?
I used to think being a musician meant writing songs, playing gigs, and occasionally tuning your instrument. Now? Apparently, I need a degree in advanced genre algebra just to keep up.
Maybe it’s time to change careers. Something simpler. Like rocket science. Because being a musician is hard.
