There are only a few hours left until the start of the Olympic Games in Italy.
The bags for Rome are already packed but before leaving there are still some things to do here in my beloved London.
Allowing myself some healthy relaxation by attending the inauguration of the "Forest Oaks Equestrian" farm
It's been a while since I've had a nice ride through the green English meadows, a spiritual experience more than a sporting one, and considering that, soon, I'll have to chase someone again (right Leo? right Lisa?
) I really needed it.
Go home and show the little Princess where she can find supplies for her beloved breakfasts, based on chocolates and fresh milk,since for a few days she will be able to play at being the queen of "Robinson Lodge" before joining me in Rome
Hoping that, in my absence, she doesn't think of cooking something and risk setting the house on fire.
Finally wandering around London trying to get THEM two to drag them to the airport.
Many, in this photo taken shortly before departure, will only see three girls, or three athletes, but in reality this shot portrays a big slice of my heart.
Nadiya, Carolyn and I met 37 years ago during a party in Rio de Janeiro and since then we have been inseparable.
And, after all these years, I'm very happy to share this experience with them.
I love you.
