Remember that: Shine like sunshine till the bitter end
This weekend, we hosted in Moscow for our shows. We had planned a two-day concert here, and it felt like the perfect place to make the most of the weekend. Since we were already in Moscow, we decided it was the right moment to shoot the music video for our new single as well. We believed Moscow would inspire us, that it would bring something good.
But things didn’t go as planned. The producer doesn’t know yet—nor does Galit. At dawn, we set out for the video shoot. The crew assembled, the equipment was set up and then the cameras rolled. We filmed. Yet nothing seemed to come together; the location and the scenes clashed, leaving us with a video that felt completely wrong.
And what did I do? I erased it —so that it would have to be filmed again. All those rehearsals vanished into nothing. The choreography we had drilled again and again slipped away from our minds as if it had never been. And the single we were working on were already nothing more than forgetten songs, pulled down from dusty shelves.
We left the city right away, escaping from a chaotic shoot filled with strange choreography, no harmony, and scenes that made no sense at all. Was it better to rush out to film a music video without rehearals, or to release it a little later after the single? We haven’t still decided which choice is the right one. What we do know for sure is that Moscow didn’t do us any good. (Because my hubby hadn’t come here.)
The new single will be out in all music stores very soon ! For now, without a
video clip !
