What a year!

It's taken a little time to get used to things again - and there's still things that I don't remember all too well! Like how to celebrate Christmas - silly although it sounds! But the little things like Christmas dishes, gluhwein and eggnog, and special items which I don't seem to have anymore (I looked!) so I really did have to follow her lead this time...

Speaking of which, things had been a little quiet lately, but then it all suddenly exploded at Christmas itself. In more than one meaning, and all in a good way! Oh, and yes, dates again! I like little better than to be able to spend quality time with someone special, and I think she knows that too.

Speaking of which... there had been a question that had begun to form in my mind for quite a while. There is history between us, of course, but this is only my first year back as such. I let her down quite badly the first time around. Things take time to heal. So as far as I know, there hadn't really been any hints as to if she would be willing to maybe consider something, but I was curious...

And maybe it was the eggnog, or gluhwein (or both), but I'd kept something with me for quite a while though. Something shiny, and round. That may fit on her finger...

And I thought if not now, then when? I may never know...

So it was somewhat nervously that I finally thought I'd pop the question...



And then she said may take the whole week to decide... which added somewhat to the tension but I am very grateful to her that she decided somewhat more quickly than that!

Mr and Mrs again... just how it should be? I hope so...!

Thank you, dear Freddy, for making this Christmas a very memorable one! And now we need to find a date... I have one in mind, but that will be my secret, even if it may be obvious!
