Phone interview

🎤OK folks, next up we've got an interview I recorded yesterday with the lead singer of a new band that we've talked about, Armed Resistance of the Heart. They've kicked off playing shows overseas, so it will be a while before we get to see them here in the States, but we're very excited to do. So, here's the interview.

🎤Hi Andrew, this is Casey Kantum from Punk Patrol radio right here in New York City. How's the tour going so far?

Pretty good. Six shows in, and we're really happy how they've been going, especially given that we're new and trying to make a name for ourselves.

🎤Well you've already done some of that of course, even before you started. Rumours had been spreading for a while before the official announcement. And why not? The son of Damon Seals, and nephew of Punk legend Izzy Seals. The son of Dakine frontwoman Lux Teel. The daughter of R'n'B superstar Rochelle Goodall. The song of sports stars Colin and Akane Southwood. And the daughter of our very own mayor, Galit de Lang. Any one of you would have attracted some attention, but all of you? How are you finding it.

Better than I expected, to be honest. I mean, everything that you said is true, of course. But when we're on stage, it's also irrelevant. The audience isn't listening or dad, or Izzy or Lux or Rochelle. Or watching sport. Or, uh, voting or something. They're listening to us, to our music.

🎤Looking forward to getting back to the States?

Yeah, of course. But to London as well. New York has been home for 5 years now, but I grew up in London. Paige went to school there. So we're looking forward to that as well.

🎤I understand that we're going to get to hear you before you get here though.

Yeah, first single will be out before we hit New York. Hope you're going to play it.

🎤I'm sure we will Andrew. Any last words to close?

Yeah, just want to thank everyone who's supporting us.
