'til we run out of breath, gotta dance 'til we die;

There is a feeling that few people in the world ever experience—some because they lack the opportunity, others because they lack the sensitivity—which is the ability to travel to another planet and look back at our home, all blue and beautiful, through the window of a spaceship. In that moment, we realize how small we are in this universe, yet not insignificant.

While I was in my room, putting on some music to get ready and go out for drinks with some friends, I found myself thinking about the trip I took with Cris and Dex. Thanks to them, I was able to forget, even if just for a little while, about the problems of this world. They have no idea how grateful I am for their company and friendship.

Sometimes I wish things were easier—or that I were more assertive, brave enough to explore this world the way I did the other one, confident enough to face my problems head-on instead of just accepting things as they are.

"What a great way to start the night, Morg," I said to myself in front of the mirror while making my skincare to get ready for my makeup. But it was impossible not to have these reflections when everything felt so messy, even after having that glimpse of my tiny existence while on Mars. It all seems so silly and meaningless to keep dwelling on things that bring me melancholy when faced with the vastness of life and the universe, but how to avoid it?

It would be nice if life came with a guide, a map, or instructions—just like so many adventures out there.
